Olive Marie Eberle, 87, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 in Tecumseh, MI with her Daughters by her side.
Olive was born December 1, 1932 to the late Lloyd Robert and Gladys May (Moody) Jones. On February 3, 1951 she married the late Gaylord Neil Eberle.
Olive is survived by her 3 children, Susan (Timothy) Colvia of Jerome, Cindy (Stephen) Frederick of Dundee and Julie Marschner of Hudson; eight grandchildren, Patrick (Michelle) Colvia, Ryan (Kathy) Colvia, Carolina Graham, Joseph (Michelle) Hochgreve, Jessica Tontini, Michelle (Kevin) Baber, Heather Hochgreve, Adam (Kristen) Colvia; thirteen great grandchildren, Emily, Abbey, Diego Brooklyn, Isaiah, Stella, Tristin, Cecilia, Teralyce, Giuliana, Savannah, Grady, Ellayna, Paul and many nieces and nephews. Olive was preceded in death by her siblings Adrian (Geraldine) Jones, Carol (William) Brooks, Loris (George) Bauer.
Olive worked at the Ann Arbor Pubic Schools, Vitality Seed Co., however, her passion was as a homemaker. Olive loved her family, raising her three daughters, sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking, and together with Gaylord they square danced for many years.
Olive was part of the quilt ministry at Christ Our King Lutheran Church in Saline.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Christ Our King Lutheran Church in Saline with Pastor Tom Schroeder officiating.
Masks required for attendance.
Friends may join the family for a time of visitation from 11:30 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. To celebrate Olive’s life and love of ice cream there will be an Ice Cream Social in the pavilion at the church following the service.
Burial will take place at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ann Arbor during a private ceremony. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association of Michigan or to Christ our King Lutheran Church note section: Quilting Ministry.
