Firefighters from the Saline Area Fire Department quickly extinguished a blaze and minimize damage at Six Trails Apartment on Saline's west side Saturday afternoon. There were no injuries.
Emergency responders were dispatched to 829 Valley Circle Drive for a fire at 2:30 p.m.
Officer Mike Snook from the Saline Police Department arrived on the scene and ensured everyone was out of the building. Firefighters were there a moment later and quickly at work. Once the hoses were unfurled, the firefighters quickly knocked down the blaze.

"When the first truck arrived they had heavy black smoke coming out of the basement apartment. When they got in, they really didn't have much fire," Fire Chief Craig Hoeft said.
The fire appeared to be caused by electronics. The burnt plastic caused a heavy, acrid smoke.
Firefighters pulled a charred television from the apartment.
The fire was limited to one apartment.
Hoeft said the resident was not home at the time of the fire. The damage from the smoke will displace the resident for a short period of time, Hoeft said.
Hoeft said police evacuated the building when they arrived.
"It all went well. Damage was minimal," Hoeft said.
Firefighters were on the scene for a little more than 30 minutes.
