8 Saline Students Named to All-State Band and Orchestra

Saline High School placed eight students on the list when the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association released the 2018 All-State Band and Orchestra.

Making the list from Saline were:

• Eileen Zong, Principal Flute, All-State Band

• Emma Rose Reilly, Clarinet, All-State Band

• Jason Chen, Alto Saxophone, All-State Band

• Zack Gabanyicz, Principal Trumpet, All State Band

• Holden Collins, Tuba, All-State Band

• Ryan Lampman, Trombone, All-State Orchestra

• Denisse Wagner, Violin, All-State Orchestra

• Danny Sesi, Bass, All-State Orchestra

Nate Lampman, Director of Bands at Saline High School, said it was an outstanding showing for Saline. With eight students making the all-state band and orchestra, Saline was fourth in the state.

Students auditioned for the all-state band in October.
