GALLERY: Saline Celebrates Opening of Fair With Parade

On the eve of the Saline Community Fair, the community celebrated the annual tradition with a parade down Bennett Street.

The parade featured the Saline High School Marching Band, the Saline Twirlettes, many antique tractors and more. The parade, which you can watch in the video below, clocked in at around 13 minutes.

The Saline Community Fair opens Wednesday at the Washtenaw County Farm Council Grounds.

9:00 a.m.        Admission Begins
9:00 a.m.        Cement Slab Tractor Pull
9:00 a.m.        Rabbit Judging
10:00 a.m.      Merchant’s Building Opens
10:00 a.m.     Swine Judging
10:00 a.m.    Poultry Judging
Noon          Goat Judging
1 – 3 p.m.       Inclusion Day (Ride Special/Special Needs Friends)
1:00 p.m.        Feeder Calf,  Steer Club & Open Beef Judging
3:00 p.m.        Rides Open
7:00 p.m.        Lamb Club Show
8:00 p.m.        Miss Saline Pageant (Stage)
