Gallery: Little Hornet Cheerleaders Join Big Sister in SHS Gym

Last Friday, a peppy group of young girls joined the Saline High School sideline cheer team for a performance at halftime of the varsity boys' basketball game.

The performance was the culmination of "Little Hornet Cheer Camp," a program offered through community education. The girls practiced on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15. Then, on Feb. 16, they joined their big sisters in cheering on the varsity basketball team. The girls joined the team and cheerleaders on the court for the anthem. At halftime, they performed several routines.

The girls learned about cheerleading and sportsmanship during the camp.
