Chamber Seeking Events and Communications Coordinator

Position: Events & Communications Coordinator
Location: Saline Area Chamber of Commerce
Hours: Part-time/Flexible

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Assist in planning and executing 2–4 events per month
✅ Create and manage meeting agendas and correspondence
✅ Engage with members via email, phone and social media to build relationships
✅ Create promotional pieces and e-blasts in Constant Contact
✅ Segment member communications by interest areas
✅ Draft and distribute press releases for events
✅ Coordinate and collaborate with event volunteers

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree, Bachelor degree preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail
  • Proactive and able to manage multiple projects
  • Familiarity with Canva, Constant Contact, and event management tools a plus
  • Experience creating social media content
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with the Board, Chamber members, sponsors, and volunteers
