Dexter Community Band opens its 41st season with a tribute to the 20th century American composers who gave us everything from ragtime to marches to unforgettable movie soundtracks.
The band will be performing music from Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, John Williams, Scott Joplin and John Philip Sousa.
The program will feature a medley of Gershwin show tunes, Bernstein’s West Side Story and Williams’ Star Wars. A Copland Portrait includes Copland’s famous Buckaroo Holiday and Hoe-Down.
Pianist Carol Chen will also join the band for the Best of Joplin.
The concert is free.

It appears on the surface that the wokeness that Saline projects has somehow bit them in the behind. Its time for this to end countrywide! The gender you were born with YOU ARE STUCK WITH. I await the attacks form the LEFT.
Except this is an article about SKYLINE and not SALINE. I see that you saw the word “transgender” and became so unhinged you couldn’t even read straight.

Except, the article indicates Saline lost to Skyline last week in the regional championship. I think this is why Saline was mentioned. Question at hand is was that game played with an ineligible Skyline player?
How many times, for how many years can a City Council repeat the same story on the Recreation Center? Wait, don't answer that. If the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting a different result...this certainly qualifies as insane.
Another pillow salesman totally out in right field. City budget woes are not a new thing. Equating that to a culture in decline takes a special kind of crazy. Also, what you use to define as insanity, is not the definition of insanity.
