Free and open to public and appropriate for all ages. Are you not feeling the Christmas spirit as strongly this year? Are there things weighing you down? It's a real thing for so many of us - we've lost loved ones, we've experienced financial hardship, we've faced emotional pain, we've had disruptions in relationships that are important to us, and so much more. It makes Christmas hard - we want to so much to be excited and joyful, yet there is so much on our hearts. If this is you, please join us for a Blue Christmas worship service on Thursday, December 15th. We have a simple soup, salad, and bread supper at 5:45 pm, and then the service is at 7:00 pm, at First Presbyterian Church, 143 E. Michigan Avenue, Saline. The service moves from lament to hope and includes activities that are for all ages, designed to help us all share our burdens with God and find hope for the season. If you have questions, please call the church office at 734-429-4140.
