Across the country, our yards have become neat and orderly—but often provide very little support for wildlife. Edith Anderson, Master Gardener and author of Rebuilding Nature: Yard by Yard, will discuss how small, thoughtful changes in our own landscapes can help rebuild habitat for birds, pollinators, and beneficial insects. Drawing on both science and real-life experience, she explains why traditional lawns fall short, how native plants support local ecosystems, and how healthy soil plays a critical role in restoring the web of life.

Off you go first thing into the world of more government control. Government run power systems shouldn't even be on your mind. DTE is a private company, government regulated. Even that is ripe for corruption. How is the government run water monopoly doing? Think of Flint, Michigan and even little Saline.
