Bridge 4, the program where all 3 Elementary Schools will swarm together for 4th grade! Join us at Heritage School to get ahead of the game in meeting students from Harvest, Pleasant Ridge, and Woodland Meadows! Incoming 4th graders will learn how to use lockers with locker combs, tour the school, become familiar with the Specials classes (Art, i-Lab, P.E, Media), and build relationships with peers and the Heritage staff! By the end of the session you will be able to enter the year knowing that at Heritage - we are Respectful, Responsible, and Kinder Than Necessary!
Class takes place on Wednesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 13 from 9 am-12 pm or 1-4 pm. Fee: $75. For students entering 4th grade at Heritage School. Registration is required through Saline Community Education: Bridge 4 Information and Registration Link

Did they announce if they’re doing the 1 mile run down Michigan avenue?
If this mileage passes, has the City of Saline, for example, committed to reduce their millage by 2.0 that they no longer
need to send to the Fire Department?
It should be stated that this mileage is going to raise the taxes for many homes by $800 per year (based on a $250K SEV). There has been no commitment that the 2.0 mil that currently exists will be replaced even though it is alluded to. That is a huge increase.
The Fire Dept. likely does have unmet needs. We have been in meetings where the Fire Chief has spoken and our impression has been that he is not fully transparent, massaging information to present a case to achieve what he wants rather than solidly and transparently defining reality and options.
