Picnic Honors Veterans on 60th Anniversary of Korean War's End
In honor of the 60th anniversary of the end of Korean War VFW Post 423 located at 3230 S. Wagner Rd. in Ann Arbor will be having a picnic to honor Ann Arbor area Korean War & Era Veterans.
If you are a Korean War or Era Veteran you and a guest are invited to attend this free picnic in your honor. All others who would like to attend can please make a donation at the door to offset cost.
This event is Sunday July 14 at 1 p.m.. If you would like to attend you must call 734-994-0444 or email johnalva@aol.com and clearly state your name and how many people will be attending. We need a head count by July 8. The main menu will be Steak, Chicken, and Corn on the Cob. All Ann Arbor Area Korean War & Era Veterans come out and be honored and thanked for your service to our country.
