There were no new deaths in COVID-19 data updated Monday by the Washtenaw County Health Department.
112 county residents have died thus far. The county saw five new hospitalizations, bringing the total to 423. The number of lab-confirmed cases increased by 39 to 2,109. Recoveries increased by 50 to 1,769
Four of Washtenaw's new cases were in Saline's 48176 zip code, bring Saline's case count to 141.
Statewide, Michigan reported six new deaths, bringing the total to 6,212. There were 604 new lab-confirmed cases.
State hospitalization data was not updated Monday.
Correction regarding the fire special assessment, council is authorizing ~$646,746 or 1 mill as a special assessment towards the city overall fire budget of $1,086,214. The remainder is funded from General fund.
Regarding the budget, it is more than inflation—proposed new positions are being added; facilities manager and economic development director, also a Water/Waste position (funded with utility fees).
