Art Around Saline 2020 Thanks Signature Sponsors
The Saline Arts & Culture Committee gratefully thanks three Signature Platinum Sponsors of Art Around Saline 2020.
Murphy's Crossing and Merchant Square (Praxis Properties), Pam and Jack Ceo, and Friends of Kai join Earth Elements, our 2019 Platinum Sponsor. Sponsors’ generosity has allowed the Committee to supplement its base funding and increase the number of works chosen for this well-received program. They are named on artworks displayed downtown.Murphy’s Crossing and Merchant Square are managed by Praxis Properties, founded in 2017 by Bill Kinley, long-time investor and supporter of downtown Saline. Praxis is committed to conscious community improvement, and owns and manages commercial and residential property in Saline, Ann Arbor, and Ypsilanti. From the beginning of Art Around Saline, Praxis has welcomed several artworks at its properties. The Kinley family’s history of support of the arts across Washtenaw County was recognized with the Arts Alliance’s 2019 Philanthropic Excellence Medal given to Bill and Mary Kinley.Pam and Jack Ceo are long-time residents of Saline, and have been involved in numerous aspects of community life for many years. Currently, Pam is a member of the board of the Friends of the Saline District Library, and Jack was re-elected in 2019 to his third term as a City of Saline Council Member. Additionally, they are supporters and sustainers of the strong ties between Salinians and our friends in Saline’s Sister Cities. Jack serves as a board member and president of the Saline-Lindenberg Friendship Committee, and Pam serves as a board member and secretary of the Saline Brecon Friendship Guild.The Friends of Kai are particularly fond of Bearded Dragons and fine art.
