The City of Saline will be hosting a town hall meeting at Saline City Hall Tuesday, November 14 at 6p.m. to discuss ongoing projects at the water treatment plant and the status of expected improvement to the water system.
“The City continues to maintain a heavy focus on improving its utility infrastructure. Managing necessary projects at our Water Plant to improve the overall quality of our drinking water is a high priority at this time.” said City Manager O’Toole.
The town hall meeting will be hosted by City Manager O’Toole, Public Works Director Sirls, City Engineer Humphriss and Water and Wastewater Superintendent Bill Briggs. Presenters will explain how our water system functions as well as projects, ongoing and upcoming, to improve the conditions of the municipal water system. After the presentation, staff will be available to answer any citizen questions or concerns.

As we noticed the rapid deterioration and indentation of the road from all of this truck traffic, which presumably will only get worse as the weather and road surface gets warmer, we have wondered just who is responsible for the cost to repair/replace these roads?
Did anyone ask the nearby residents if they want a party palace in their neighborhood? Traffic, parking, crowds, trash, noise: was any of this considered when making this decision?
The organizers are required to submit an application to the City of Saline for this event. If you wish to provide input, comments can be sent to the City Clerk or made in person at anytime or more specifically when their application appears on the council agenda.
So the senior citizens and the kids that decided not to go to work are doing what? Protesting what? Are they updet that KAMALA was REJECTED? Then let them have FREE CHEESE.
