Funeral Service for Leon Trinkle, 90, May 18 at Bethel United Church

Leon Gilbert Trinkle, age 90, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at his home in Ann Arbor.

He was born in Ann Arbor, MI on October 10, 1928 the son of Gilbert and Tema (Girbach) Trinkle. Leon married Joan Trinkle and she preceded him in death. Survivors include his step-daughter Lori (Brian) Heldt, seven step-grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren, step-daughter-in-law Debra Barth, five nieces, and one nephew. Leon was preceded in death by his wife Joan, step-daughter Cherie Carper, step-son-in-law Ron Carper, step-son James Barth, and sisters Irene Kottke and Wilma Johnson.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel United Church of Christ in Manchester, MI with Rev. David Bucholtz officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Church Cemetery and a luncheon will be held at the church. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel United Church of Christ and envelopes will be available at the service.
