NANCY WISMAN
Stockbridge, MI
Starting in 2013 to sell her work, NANCY WISMAN learned to knit in 4-H Club in Dearborn at age of 10. Her inspiration comes from the unique yarns now available and the decorative accessories and specialty buttons that she happens upon in craft stores inspire a sweater. “I love to knit. It is so relaxing and fulfilling to see a product develop before I know it. I can even knit while I watch TV,” relates Nancy. Her product line includes sweaters, hats, mittens, and more. Her best selling product is the sweater with matching hat but she also has Michigan Christmas stockings which are a fan favorite, small snuggle blankets, hats, and matching mittens. decorative pillows and throws. Nancy has a faithful customer who comes from Ohio each year and is a doctor. She has custom-ordered specialty cow sweaters for all her grandsons. Even after being up all night, she attends the show in Saline annually. Come see the working hands of Nancy Wisman in Booth 116 and her talented mind.
Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 47 and low of 31 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Sunny for the morning, overcast in the afternoon, clear overnight.
I have to commend the Saline City manager and engineer for keeping their cool and for their professionalism during the three hour Mill Pond Dam town hall meeting.
I think what's insulting is that the city is bloating the numbers to bolster their case.
Logically, the dam has no practical use. Of course, it's going to cost more. Of course, there's a level of risk there. Of course, over some period of time, it's going to cost more to maintain than a stream.
Life cycle cost analysis is certainly appropriate when considering new assets, but it may not be as appropriate when evaluating existing assets.
