LACROSSE: Saline Girls Fall in Home Opener to Midland

The Saline varsity girls lacrosse team lost to Midland, 15-4, in the Hornets home opener Wednesday. Midland jumped out to a 4-0 lead just nine minutes into the game and never looked back.

Saline had a couple chances early, but when they did beat Midland's goalie, they struck goalposts and crossbars.

The Hornets finally broke the seal in the second half on a goal by senior Hannah Allen. Allen would later score a second goal. Also scoring for Saline were seniors Celest Roof and Lillian Duce.
