Maria Sebald, 36, Was a Free Spirit with an Infectious Laugh

Maria Ann Sebald (Starling) of Ypsilanti, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at 36 years of age.

Maria was born on August 7, 1982, to Kenneth and Pamela Starling (Edwards), who survive her, in addition to her brother David (Kristen) Starling, and friends whom she considered family. She now joins her brother, Jason Starling, who preceded her.

On June 15, 2013, Maria married Kyle Sebald, and together they had many adventures both near and far. Maria was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, but her heart belonged to Michigan State. On Saturdays in the fall Maria could be found sipping a mimosa alongside Kyle and their friends while cheering on the Spartans.

Maria was a free spirit, and loved celebrating life no matter what the reason. Her caring nature, beautiful personality, and infectious laugh will be missed by those that knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Maria’s fun loving spirit will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline, Michigan. The family requests that everyone wear their MSU gear, or as an alternative, something green, the only way Maria would have wanted it.
