The U.S. National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm warning for our area. 6 to 9 inches of snow is expected between 3AM and Midnight on Friday February 9th.
The long duration and high volume of this storm will make plowing challenging.
The City of Saline Department of Public Works is requesting residents move their vehicles out of the road. This will make it much easier for our crews to clear the streets.
DPW would also like to remind residents it is a violation of Michigan Motor Vehicle Code to place snow from private driveways in the public street. Shovel or blow your snow onto your yard or lawn extension.
Please give our plows and all emergency responders room to work tomorrow
Cloudy , with a high of 86 and low of 61 degrees. Mist during the morning, sunny in the afternoon, mist overnight.
Perhaps we are missing something here? The decision to not find a reasonable accommodation to interview Kelley seems short sighted and contrary to ensuring the best interests of the schools and our children are given top priority.
“In our view…” who are you speaking for here?
Sometimes I feel like the some members of the board views this more as a corporation than a community. I understand that Saline Schools are large, but when everything is approached with a big-business, corporate mindset, it starts to lose that sense of connection.
