SOCCER: Dahlmann's Goal Stands as the Winner as Saline Blanks Huron

Saline defeated Huron, 1-0, Tuesday to remain unbeaten in the varsity girls SEC Red soccer standings.

Junior Annika Dahlmann scored from 20 yards out 14 minutes into the game to give the Hornets the only goal they would ever need.

While the Hornets dominated play, the River Rats mounted a late challenge. Goalkeeper Annika Udrys made a spectacular save with 30 seconds left in the game to preserve the win.

The Hornets host Skyline at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hornet Stadium.
