Join Sound Therapist, Rob Meyer-Kukan, for this introduction to sound therapy workshop, playshop, and sound bath.
In this workshop we will explore how healing with sound works. Participants will learn the basics of sound, the history of sound therapy, the tools used in sound therapy (specifically Himalayan singing bowls, crystal bowls, and gongs), and the applications for group and individual use of sound therapy.
Come and learn the therapeutic and balancing effect of sound therapy using techniques for on and off the body. Participants will be given an opportunity to "try out" the array of instruments at 7 Notes Natural Health.
Our time together will include a sound bath meditation with Rob. The sound meditation will take you to a place of deep relaxation to help release stress, renew, relax and rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit.
Participants should bring a yoga mat, blanket, bolster or pillow and eye cover/eye pillow.

Sunny, with a high of 83 and low of 54 degrees. Sunny in the morning, clear overnight.
Would urge the city to NOT privatize the Rec Center or sell it.
Ali. There is a reason you don’t understand. You choose not to. Investing in our seniors health and wellbeing is much more important than investing in a recreation center that has continued to lose money and only serves a small portion of our city’s community.
We are seniors and fully familiar with both facilities. Perhaps what is not understood is the number of seniors who use the Recreation Center, in particular the aquatic center as arthritis for many of us means water is one of the few ways we can exercise. Many of course also use other areas of the facility.
EDIT: The Saline American Legion was a sponsor for this event, supplying the food for guests. SASC is grateful for their continued support.
Kudos to The Saline American Legion. They have been a consistent contributor to the SASC. Seniors in our community have earned and deserve the benefits that the senior center offers. Great work!
