Ruby was found roaming free, no collar, and sick. We took her in, gave her her health back, and now she is thriving. She was clearly not used to eating regularly, living indoors, or meeting people.
It’s been 6 months, and she no longer tucks her tail between her legs, or shakes when petted. She loves meeting everyone and bays when the doorbell rings.
She has a beautiful red coat, thus her name. And she can’t control her licker, which is her most endearing feature.
She offers the citizens of Saline all the free licker they want, and will guard our fair city as any good hound would.
