You are invited to join Rob at 7 Notes Natural Health for a chance to get away and meditate. This day long retreat will be your oasis of peace and calm, a chance to connect to nature, to spirit, to your higher self. Walking/hiking meditation opens our day at one of Ann Arbor's many local parks. We continue with various forms of meditation, yoga nidra, journal writing, breath work, sound and aroma experience, and more. Ample time for sharing and reflection will be provided.

Dan cites large dollar amounts yet much of the support the rec center needs is due to past neglect/lack of support from the city and continual deferral of routine maintenance.
Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 85 and low of 70 degrees. Fog in the morning, overcast for the afternoon, mist overnight.
Would urge the city to NOT privatize the Rec Center or sell it.
Ali. There is a reason you don’t understand. You choose not to. Investing in our seniors health and wellbeing is much more important than investing in a recreation center that has continued to lose money and only serves a small portion of our city’s community.
We are seniors and fully familiar with both facilities. Perhaps what is not understood is the number of seniors who use the Recreation Center, in particular the aquatic center as arthritis for many of us means water is one of the few ways we can exercise. Many of course also use other areas of the facility.
EDIT: The Saline American Legion was a sponsor for this event, supplying the food for guests. SASC is grateful for their continued support.
Kudos to The Saline American Legion. They have been a consistent contributor to the SASC. Seniors in our community have earned and deserve the benefits that the senior center offers. Great work!
