Text the group chat — it’s time for a downtown slumber party.
Ladies’ Night Out is back — and this year we’re throwing it back to the ultimate 90s kids slumber party.
Join us in downtown Saline for an evening of shopping, nostalgia, and playful fun. Participating businesses will be hosting throwback activities like friendship bracelet crafting, mini spa stations, temporary tattoos, selfie stations with 90s props, and more.
As you explore downtown, you’ll collect a butterfly hair clip from every participating business you visit — the perfect accessory for a proper 90s night.
Start at any participating business and make your way downtown collecting clips along the way. Be sure to stop by The 109 Cultural Exchange before the end of the evening to enter the Ladies’ Night Out raffles, featuring gift cards and items from local businesses. Raffle tickets will be available throughout the event.
The event is free to attend, but downtown shops and restaurants will be open and ready with plenty of ways to treat yourself.
Grab your friends, throw on your favorite pajamas or 90s-inspired outfit, and come relive the best parts of growing up.
Yes to crafts.
Yes to pop music.
Yes to nostalgia.

Light freezing rain, with a high of 28 and low of 15 degrees. Light freezing rain for the morning, cloudy for the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
I have to commend the Saline City manager and engineer for keeping their cool and for their professionalism during the three hour Mill Pond Dam town hall meeting.
I think what's insulting is that the city is bloating the numbers to bolster their case.
Logically, the dam has no practical use. Of course, it's going to cost more. Of course, there's a level of risk there. Of course, over some period of time, it's going to cost more to maintain than a stream.
Life cycle cost analysis is certainly appropriate when considering new assets, but it may not be as appropriate when evaluating existing assets.
