The Washtenaw County Road Commission and Barrett Paving Materials Inc. begin resurfacing Austin Road Monday, July 29.
Milling and asphalt paving operations take place from Boettner Road to about 1,200 feet east of Grass Road in Saline and Bridgewater townships.
The work is expected to take six days, according to Washtenaw County Road Commission Project Manager Gary Streight. During these daytime activities, traffic will be restricted to one-lane under flag control operations. Access for residents, businesses and deliveries will be maintained, however delays are likely.
