Kiwanians Keeping Michigan Avenue Clean
Michigan Avenue, east of Saline, looks a little tidier today.
That's because members of Saline Kiwanis Club, joined by local Boy Scouts, spent a couple hours cleaning up the road Wednesday afternoon.
The club cleaned up the section of the road between Industrial Road and a couple hundred yards east of Fosdick Road. That's the stretch of road that the club adopted as part of the Michigan Adopt-a-Highway program.
Saline Kiwanis cleans up trash on Michigan Avenue three times annually. The group also sponsors Saline Aktion Club, provides two $1,000 scholarships to Saline High School seniors, supports scouting groups, and much more.
