Law's Official Response to Marl's Call for a Forum

Here is Saline mayoral candidate Glenn Law's official response to Brian Marl's call for a forum or debate with his opponent. The Saline Post covered this in a story Tuesday.

Glenn Law, candidate for mayor of Saline, has responded with a firm “yes” to his opponent’s call for public forum or debates between the two mayoral candidates. Law said he would love to debate and point out the stark differences between himself and his opponent anywhere and anytime between now and the November 6th election.

“I look forward to the opportunity to debate the issues of this campaign,” Law stated in a news release. Law added, “It’s been many years since an incumbent has not run for mayor of Saline and I believe the current mayoral candidates owe it to the citizens of this great city to hear what they have to say about moving the city forward.”

Law, who was on city council for almost eight years, says financial stability, strong support of police and fire services and an empowered citizenry are vital issues in this campaign. Law earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Eastern Michigan University and is working as a preschool teacher in South Lyon. He and his wife Lorrie have lived in Saline for over 12 years and have a 16 year old daughter, Sarah who will be a senior this year at Saline High School.
