CORONAVIRUS: No New Deaths, 3 Hospitalizations in Washtenaw County Data

There were no new deaths and three new hospitalizations in COVID-19 data updated today by the Washtenaw County Health Department.

110 Washtenaw County residents have died. 403 residents have been hospitalized. The health department reported 25 new lab-confirmed cases, taking the total to 1,890.  There have now been 1,536 recoveries after at 17 were added to the total today.

Saline's 48176 zip code was responsible for five of the county's new cases. There have now been 126 cases in Saline.

The State of Michigan reported six new deaths, raising the total to 6,141. The number of confirmed cases increased by 523.

Hospitalization numbers continue to rise. Inpatients increased by 26 to 500. The number of patients in critical care increased by nine to 237. The number of patients on ventilators remained at 130. Despite the general upward trends, the totals are far lower than they were in April (3,986 inpatients, 1,570 patients in critical care, and 1,365 patients on ventilators.)
