Ryan Raus, Devoted Friend and Father of 2, Was a Talented Machinist for Liebherr Aerospace

Ryan Raus, age 47, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, surrounded with love. Ryan was born July 1, 1972, to Fredrick Raus and Judith (Dufour) Raus.

He was a lifelong Saline resident and a 1991 graduate of Saline High School. Ryan was a talented Machinist and enjoyed working for Liebherr Aerospace. He had a creative mind and could build/craft almost anything. His knowledge of history was impressive, and his love of the outdoors was inherent.

Above all, Ryan was a devoted friend and cared deeply for his family. He was always poised with a greeting and a smile and had the ability to make others laugh without fail. Ryan was a quick-witted character, a master of one-liners, and a true prankster. He was kind and generous, loyal and trust-worthy.

Ryan will forever be missed by his treasured sons, William F. and Evan J.; loving mother, Judy; sister, Amy; and niece, Anna. He was reunited with his father, Fred, and numerous family members and friends who have gone before him. No services will be held at this time.
