VIDEO: Saline High School Ten Tones Choir Performs for Board of Education

The Saline High School Ten Tones performed three songs for the Saline Board of Education at Tuesdays meeting.

The Ten Tones choir includes Jenna Allman, Jane Altevogt, Clay Baker, Jacob Bres, Samantha Dobrowolski, Christina Gonzalez, Ben Keith, Jack Pribble, Margie Raupp, Jordan Reeves, Spencer Schneider and Wesley Welt. Pribble and Welt were not present for the performance

The choir is directed by Sarah Price, Director of Choirs at Saline High School. Price said the Ten Tones practice each weekday morning before school.

The choir performed in the Michigan School Vocal Music Association solo and ensemble festival, earning perfect scores. The choir will be busy on Valentine's Day, performing love songs around the school.

Board of Education Trustee Dennis Valenti said everyone can learn from listening to the choir.

"One voice is great. Diverse voices coming together makes this sound so much more beautiful. We need to bring all our diverse voices together and we will be stronger," Valenti said.
