The City of Saline presented the 2019 Green Thumb Awards to residents and a business that take the extra effort to make the community and their property more attractive for all to enjoy.
Jody Roberts, of the Saline Rec Center, was joined by Parks Commission Chair Chuck Lesch, as well as Mayor Brian Marl and City Councillor Heidi McClelland, to present the awards at the Sept. 9 council meeting.
The residential awards were presented to Jill Clark, of Middlewood Drive, David and Becky Fox, of Willis Road, and Dan McGraw, of Whitlock Street. They were chosen from 21 nominees.
The business/public spaces award went to Brecon Village, which was chosen from four nominees.
