Washtenaw County 4-H Fair: July 22-26, 2019
Are you tired of mediocre quality meat? Want a fun place to bring the family? Do you need a business write off while getting advertisement?
Come to the Washtenaw County 4-H fair (Ann Arbor-Saline Rd.). There is no entry fee, which makes it the cheapest petting farm around! There are education exhibits posted throughout the barns, so you can learn about the animals. The 4-H participants are also happy to answer questions about their animals. If you like to watch the kids show their animals here is the schedule:
Poultry is at 10:00 am on Tuesday
Feeder calves and beef are at 4:00 pm on Tuesday
Swine are at 8:00 am on Wednesday
Rabbits are at 9:00 am on Wednesday
Sheep are at 6:00 pm on Wednesday
Goats are at 8:30 am on Thursday
Dairy is at 9:30 am on Thursday
Thursday, July 25th at 6:30 is the livestock auction. This is where you can buy homegrown quality meat raised by the 4-H youth. There will be assistance to help with processing. You can enjoy the meat for yourself or donate it to shelters and get a tax write off for your business. The kids work very hard and purchasing animals from the 4-H livestock auction is a great way to support the youth in our communities.
Thank you from the Washtenaw County 4-H Junior Livestock Club!
