Service for Jean Marie Munsell, Former President of the Saline Hospital Auxiliary, May 28
Jean Marie Munsell passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 surrounded by her loving husband of 65 years E. Keith Munsell and her three children. Jean was born on February 11, 1935 in Hudson, MI, the daughter of John A. and Lottie Frances (Grime) Griffith.
She was a long-time member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Saline. She was always happiest when she was cooking for someone. Keith and Jean spent many hours making care packages for family and friends. Jean was also a past president of the Saline Hospital Auxiliary and worked in the hospital gift shoppe.
In addition to her husband, survivors include their three children Jessica (Timothy) Kehoe, Jody (Richard) Schaible, and Butch (Theresa) Munsell. Other survivors include her sister-in-law Kay (Norman) Ames of Hudson, MI, six grandchildren Michelle (Jason) Miner, Jonathon Kehoe, Jason (Summer) Schaible, Nicholas (Kelli) Munsell, Stephanie (Brian) Wietmarschen, Benjamin (Samantha) Munsell, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Donald Gould and Harry Griffith, a sister Loretta Griffith, and a great-grandson Nathan Munsell.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at St. Paul UCC in Saline, MI with a viewing starting at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow the service and will take place in the Lodi Township Cemetery in Saline. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul UCC and envelopes will be available at the church.
