The Saline Wind Ensemble was joined by the Walled lake Central high School Wind Symphony for a collaboration concert Wednesday, in the Ellen A. Ewing Performing Arts Center at Saline High School.
Walled Lake Central Wind Symphony Director David Rogers and Saline Wind Ensemble Director Nathaniel Lampman are friends from their days as students at Michigan State University. Each band performed three pieces.
John Madden, former MSU Spartan Marching Band Director, was conductor when the bands combined to perform Light Calvary.
“This is our celebration – making music together. That’s what this is all about,” Lampman said.
Below are two videos and a photo gallery from the concert.
