One Transported to Hospital After Tuesday Morning Crash on US 12

Traffic was  detoured off eastbound US-12 near Industrial Drive Tuesday morning due to a crash.

Firefighters from Pittsfield and Saline used hydraulic tools to extricate one man trapped in a vehicle. He was transported to hospital by Huron Valley Ambulance in critical condition. 

At 7:07 a.m., the Saline Area Fire Department was dispatched for a reported rollover on US-12 east of the intersection. 

There were several vehicles involved in the crash, including a semi-truck. The truck was westbound on Michigan Avenue when a vehicle crossed center and apparently struck the trailer's wheels.

Only one person was injured in the crash.
