Pioneer jumped to a 10-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back, handing the Saline varsity girls' basketball team a 65-51 loss and its first loss of the season.
Saline fell to 1-1 in the SEC Red and 7-1 overall.
Ella Stemmer scored 19 points and had three rebounds and three steals. Nicole Sweetland had nine points, two rebounds and three assists. Sophie Gasparovic added seven points. Steffi Bentley scored six points and had three rebounds. Maddy Welch scored five points and grabbed three rebounds. Liz Sekerak had three points and two steals. Erin Reilly scored two points. Amera Boyd had a steal, block and two assists.

Interesting. As the schools are funded by tax-payer dollars, "the people" paid for that report . . . . and it has to do with our public/publicly funded schools. Hard to understand why the Board is deciding to and/or thinks they can keep it private. Disappointing (to put it mildly) and concerning.
