Holy Faith Church holds its annual Paper Bag Pageant to be held at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
The Paper Bag Pageant is simple. A paper bag will be given at the door to each person interested in participating. Inside the paper bag is a prop that reveals one’s part (lamb’s ears, or a king’s crown, for example). There are no lines to read. As the narrator reads the story of Jesus’ birth, the pageant director will cue the participants when it is time to come forward.
“Every worshiper may play a part if he or she wishes. There are no auditions or rehearsals necessary,” explained Pastor Andrea Martin
The Paper Bag Pageant has been a Holy Faith Christmas tradition for years. The one-hour service welcomes all ages, genders, and families to join the celebration of Christ’s birth. In addition to the pageant, the service will include the singing of Christmas carols and a celebration of communion.
For people looking for a more traditional service, Holy Faith will also have a 9:00 pm Christmas Eve service featuring a choral prelude, homily, and communion. Both the 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm services will conclude with candlelight.
Holy Faith Church is located at 6299 Ann Arbor-Saline Road, in Saline.

Hard to understand the library millage. They are spending millions on a renovation that arguably was not critically needed and still have millions more in reserves.
