The Saline varsity girls soccer team opened the playoffs with a 10-0 win against host Ypsilanti-Lincoln. The game was called at halftime due to the mercy rule. Lauren Rubin and Erin Reilly each scored two goals. Also scoring were Morgan Jones, Genesis Pena, Hannah Jarvie, Devin Reilly, Natalie Wykowski and Sabrina Helmer. Bella Petrock, Jones, Sarah Brannan, Katie Miller, Devin Reilly, Liz Sekerak, Emma Petrock and Audrey Morton assisted on goals. Annika Udrys posted the shutout.
Saline plays Huron in the district semifinal at 7 p.m., Thursday, at Skyline.

This did not have to happen. In past shutdowns, when we had experienced and knowledgeable people in government positions who actually cared about the American people, advance plans were made to ensure funding for this (and other key programs) was in place before the shutdown.
I totally agree what is wrong with Democrat party these days , headed by a bunch of radicals. They kicked out Robert Kennedy and installed Kamala Harris. Now NYC will get a SOCAILIST as mayor and what, that will kill the city. I certainly don't want my tax dollars going to fund SOCIALISM.
