Poupore, a four-time all-state wrestler, kept his podium hopes alive with a 9-1 decision over Southgate's Logan Palshan on Friday evening.
Saturday, Poupore took care of business. He earned a 10-3 victory over Birmingham's Damon Dunbar. Then he won a 9-4 decision over Romeo's Hunter Garris.
That victory vaulted Poupore into the match for third place, where he won a 3-2 decision over Lapeer's Hunter Hoffman.
Poupore, who won his 168th match on Jan. 27 to set a new Saline High School record. Since then he's added 20 wins to his record to finish at 188-19.

Overcast , with a high of 43 and low of 34 degrees. Overcast in the morning, cloudy in the afternoon and evening, overcast overnight.
Interesting. As the schools are funded by tax-payer dollars, "the people" paid for that report . . . . and it has to do with our public/publicly funded schools. Hard to understand why the Board is deciding to and/or thinks they can keep it private. Disappointing (to put it mildly) and concerning.
