Basketball: Saline Girls Lose to Chandler Park Academy

Chandler Park Academy defeated Saline, 58-46, in girls varsity basketball action at Saline High School Tuesday night.

Chandler Park took a 13-10 lead in the first quarter and grew it as the game went on.

Ella Stemmer paced the Saline offense with 13 points. She also had eight steals. Erin Reilly scored nine points and grabbed six rebounds. Other contributors were Asia Lindsey (4 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists), Brooke Bauer (5 points, 7 rebounds), Liz Sekerak (5 points), Nicole Sweetland (4 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 assists), Maddy Welch (4 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists) and Emily Eitzman, who scored her first varsity basket.
