All three Saline High School bands received “superior” ratings from each adjudicator at the MSBOA District Band Festival at Chelsea High School, March 2.
Each group performed a program of three pieces for the panel of three adjudicators. In front of a fourth adjudicator, the bands sight read a piece of music they’d never played before.
“Superior” ratings are the highest possible assessments at the MSBOA District Band Festival.
“As always the music students represented their school and community with pride and excellence,” said Nate Lampman, Director of Bands. “Congratulations to all the SHS band students for their outstanding performances at M.S.B.O.A. District Band Festival.”
The bands were directed by Lampman and Ben Reed.
Saline High School Principal David Raft said the district was proud the students’ accomplishments and praised the leadership of Lampman and Reed.
Heavy rain, with a high of 95 and low of 70 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Fog during the morning, sunny in the afternoon, fog in the evening, thundery outbreaks in nearby overnight.
Appreciate the coverage provided for Saline, Tran. That said, your biases are too often evident in what you choose to point out and the language used.

Once again, we are going to have to agree to disagree, Libby.
