The latest projections from Snooze2you.com show a new path to Ford Field for the Saline football team.
Before this week, Saline was in a district with Canton, Northville and Belleville. Now the Hornets would move to Region 1, District 2. The Hornets (7-0) would host Howell (5-2) to open the playoffs. With a victory, Saline would then face the winner of a Brighton-Grand Ledge map.
If the Hornets win their district, they’d face a western Michigan team in the regional championship. The region’s other district features Hudsonville (6-1), Grandville (6-1), Rockford (5-2) and East Kentwood (4-3).
Saline defeated Rockford by forfeit in week one of the season.
The Hornets finish their season with games at Tecumseh and at home to Birmingham Groves. Groves, like Saline, is 7-0. Tecumseh is 3-4.
