Walter Chrysler was a self-made man who built one of the Big Three auto companies.
Russell Doré, automotive historian, will present Chrysler’s early life in the locomotive business, his success at General Motors, and the creation of the Chrysler Corporation, on Wednesday, September 28, from 7-8 pm at Saline District Library.
Learn how Chrysler developed his skills by being a key part of General Motors. Find out the roles that the Maxwell and Willys companies played in his development. Hear the story of the Chrysler Building in New York City. His family, his personality, and his love of the good life will all be explored in this one-hour presentation with visuals.
