Jim was the brother of Linda Day, Peter Zubrin (Rena Littman), Lorna and William Mason, Leonor and Bruce Jacobson, and Elizabeth and Charles Schrock. He was the loving uncle to Carol and Bill Williams, Wendy and Erik Hohmann, Melanie Zubrin (Corie Grelle), Michelle and Corby Laverty, Emily and Boris Kokotovic, Jennifer and William Stevenson, Karen and Eric Simring, and Kenneth and Alexa Schrock. Jim was preceded in death by brother Kenneth Day of Poulsbo, WA, and sister Mary Luz Zubrin of Huntington Woods, MI and parents Kenneth and Luz Day of Detroit, MI. Memorial Open House Wed., October 12, 2022 at Cottage Inn, 512 East William, Ann Arbor, MI from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the lower level Cellar Room.
