Saline Rotary Club Hosts "Pizza for Polio" on World Polio Day - October 24, 2024

Saline, MI — On October 24, 2024, the Saline Rotary Club is excited to announce a special event in honor of World Polio Day: "Pizza for Polio." In partnership with Jet's Pizza Saline, a portion of all pizza sales from this prized local pizzeria will be donated to the End Polio Now campaign, supporting global efforts to eradicate polio once and for all.

World Polio Day is a significant occasion that raises awareness about the ongoing battle against polio and highlights the importance of vaccination. With just a few cases reported worldwide, the fight is closer than ever to eradication, but continued support is essential.

"We are thrilled to team up with Jet's Pizza to make a difference in our global community," said Todd Mercer, President of the Saline Rotary Club. "Every pizza sold on this day contributes to a vital cause, and we invite everyone to join us in the fight against polio."
