Registration open for WCC’s Winter 2025 semester
The 2025 Winter Semester at Washtenaw Community College (WCC) begins January 13. New students may apply for admission. Registration remains open through the first day of classes.
Prospective students may apply online for enrollment in a few easy steps.
The college will offer four start dates to accommodate the flexible schedules of traditional and non-traditional students. Half of WCC’s students are adults 22 and older, many with family and job responsibilities. Courses with later start dates cover the same material at an accelerated pace.
Winter semester start dates are:
- Session I – January 13
- Session II – February 4
- Session III – February 10
- Session IV – March 13
WCC offers more than 130 programs to prepare students for rewarding careers or transfer to a university to earn a bachelor’s degree. More than 50 programs are fully online.
Many scholarship opportunities are available for students, as well as financial aid assistance. WCC offers one of the state’s most affordable tuition rates, with in-district tuition at $99 per credit.
The Michigan Reconnect Scholarship is a state program covering in-district tuition to help eligible adults who do not already have a degree. Applications for the temporary expansion of the Reconnect scholarship lowering the age of eligible applicants to 21 must be submitted by December 31.

The first Reconnect session, which is designed to address all eligible age groups, will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday, November 25. Click to register.
Another set of free Reconnect information sessions will be held Monday, December 16, for specific age groups. Prospective students ages 21-24 may click to register for the session that begins at 5:30 p.m. Prospective students 25 or older may click to register for the session that begins at 6:30 p.m.
