Nice of the attorneys to clarify this language at this point rather than having the foresight to understand that language should never have been in the agreement to start with!
Perhaps the Township should have sought counsel from an attorney not involved in the original contract negotiations (and perhaps they did - do not know) before changing direction.
Final thought - perhaps the attorney(s) working with the Township on the agreementΒ can provide an explanation as to why that language HAD to be as represented in the final version of the agreement/why protections against exactly what has happened were not put in place.
Sunny, with a high of 90 and low of 68 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Sunny in the morning, partly cloudy in the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
Iβm curious as to why Mr. Marl has announced his reelection intentions, started campaigning and collecting funds, but has not done the paperwork to put his name on the ballot yet?
Marl says he's got his signatures.
Citizens of Saline are finally waking up to all the failures of our current city government. Girbach is bailing (for good reason).
Having sadly been involved in the last few years with theΒ care of two family members after loss of their partners then dealing with settling the estates which is far more time consuming and complex than anticipated, can understand this decision and commend him for prioritizing family.
Sounds as if you have been and are a supporter of Swallow and felt he was good for Saline. Nice to hear. As for the other observations, hopefully some of the turnover, including Girbach deciding not to pursue another term (talk about negative), will prove to produce a more positive environment.
