We are excited for our upcoming First Annual Crafter/Artist Show on December 3rd from noon - 8 pm. We will have 15 local creatives selling their one of a kind, locally made, artworks and crafts. As a way of supporting our local artists, 100% of ALL PROCEEDS from sales are going to the artists/crafters. Items will start as low as $5.00 on up. There will be something for everyone. Invite friends!
ALSO, enjoy complimentary cookies, enter into a Whitepines' raffle for a free art class, and kids will enjoy decorating wooden snowflakes while you shop. It is also the Second Annual Cocoa Crawl in Saline. Have your passport stamped at all the participating downtown shops and restaurants and enter into a raffle for a gift basket loaded with fabulous items and gift cards. And, if that isn't enough, stick around and enjoy the Saline Holiday Parade that starts at 5:30 pm!

Moderate rain, with a high of 56 and low of 45 degrees. Patchy rain nearby in the morning, light drizzle in the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
Off you go first thing into the world of more government control. Government run power systems shouldn't even be on your mind. DTE is a private company, government regulated. Even that is ripe for corruption. How is the government run water monopoly doing? Think of Flint, Michigan and even little Saline.

Would think that save would have freed money at some point in the budget projections. More to the point, we have heard the Fire Chief speak two or three times now.
