In preparation for the upcoming MSBOA Band Festival, 7th and 8th grade bands will be sightreading and performing their festival music for guest clinician Damien Crutcher. Parents will get to witness what goes into a Festival performance and get a sneak peek at what goes on behind the scenes to prepare this music as Damien Crutcher works with the students on the stage.

We are excited to welcome Damien Crutcher to Saline for our 7th and 8th Grade Pre-Festival Concerts. Damien Crutcher is a native Detroiter and a graduate of Cass Technical High School. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Michigan State University, and a Master's in Conducting from the University of Michigan. He is currently the co-founder and CEO of Crescendo Detroit. He is in his 13th season as the Conductor and Artistic Director of the Farmington Community Band and is a frequent guest conductor and clinician throughout Michigan.
