Somatic Activated Healing, aka the SAH Method, is designed to be a dynamic and multi-faceted approach to healing and wellness. This method helps us to experience the present moment through our bodies and release any emotions or stories that we might be hanging onto. I will guide you through 1 hour of breath work, meditations, specific movement sequences paired with positive affirmations, and freeform dance. All of this is set to a curated playlist. We work from the "bottom up" meaning that we use the body as the entry point to healing and don't engage with the stories in the mind.
We will have fun and heal by
This method can be modified to any body type and you don't need any prior knowledge or experience to participate. Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in, perhaps layers to shed if you get warm. Bring some water and an open mind!

Heavy rain, with a high of 81 and low of 70 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Fog in the morning, overcast during the afternoon, partly cloudy in the evening, thundery outbreaks in nearby overnight.
Would urge the city to NOT privatize the Rec Center or sell it.
Ali. There is a reason you don’t understand. You choose not to. Investing in our seniors health and wellbeing is much more important than investing in a recreation center that has continued to lose money and only serves a small portion of our city’s community.
We are seniors and fully familiar with both facilities. Perhaps what is not understood is the number of seniors who use the Recreation Center, in particular the aquatic center as arthritis for many of us means water is one of the few ways we can exercise. Many of course also use other areas of the facility.
EDIT: The Saline American Legion was a sponsor for this event, supplying the food for guests. SASC is grateful for their continued support.
Kudos to The Saline American Legion. They have been a consistent contributor to the SASC. Seniors in our community have earned and deserve the benefits that the senior center offers. Great work!
